Mastership in the Diplomatic Academy
-highest attainable level of qualification
Mastership in the Diplomatic Academy will be awarded on account of personal integrity and professional character, positions of honor, professional and personal contributions toward advancement and furthering the purposes of the Diplomatic Academy, eminence in advancement and professional practice or in diplomatic training, research, and or other distinguished attainments in related field'.
Holders of the Mastership qualification are competent and skilled practitioners of proved ability at Doctoral level. They have complete knowledge in related field and are able to train others. Mastership is the highest attainable level of award in the Diplomatic Academy. Mastership is the Diplomatic Academy of Europe's Advanced Master Certificate of Competency and is only achieved by recommendation upon completion of academic level 8 programme. Only specialists in related field can hold the Mastership designation.
Election to Mastership recognizes outstanding, distinguished and extraordinary career accomplishments. Masters in the Diplomatic Academy must have made a significant and notable contribution to related field. This includes, but not limited to research, training, speaking and outstanding work in diplomatic affairs related field (research, training and practice).

To be awarded Mastership in the Diplomatic Academy, contributions to the development of the Diplomatic Academy and its specialized professional training programmes are of paramount importance.
Masters will attend, participate in, speak or present at forums, debates, conferences or other diplomatic events/programmes and provide their insight on emerging issues and trends in a wide range of trade, diplomatic, international security, political, intercultural, humanitarian, foreign affairs and or social related issues.
Mastership in the Diplomatic Academy is therefore, a symbol of proficiency, competency and professional achievement widely respected and recognised by diplomatic academies, international governmental institutions, non-governmental organisations, non-profit agencies, corporate, governments and government employers.
