The Diplomatic Academy is a global professional membership and diplomatic organization offering both specialized commercial diplomatic training, research and networking opportunities to practitioners globally. Some of the aims of the Diplomatic Academy are: to encourage the creation, advancement and dissemination of knowledge through training, research and development; to source and coordinate information from all the disciplines involved; to provide an inter-diplomatic assembly (forum) in which new ideas and new products can have the benefit of informed and professional scrutiny; and to further education and communication.
Underpining Knowledge and Understanding
The underpining knowledge and understanding for Professional competence is usually demonstrated through advanced education and professional training. It is the academy's mission as a professional diplomatic body to develop and deliver high quality training on commercial diplomacy; and to be worldly recognised as the premier academy for commercial diplomats, and a key influencer, promoting advanced knowledge, integrity, professionalism and greater understanding of commercial diplomacy. The Academy initiates in partnership with other international institutions, inter-diplomatic forums and debates on specific subjects and has a programme of meetings at which lectures are given and discussed.
There are standing Special Interest Forums which keep under constant review pertinent aspects of commercial diplomacy, anti-corruption, judicial diplomacy, and foreign relations. The Academy has concentrated its activity on commercial diplomacy and anti-corruption training by blended learning (work-based) creating a unique platform by way of which thousands of qualified practitioners worldwide can obtain an specialized professional training in compliance with their demands.
