DAE Admissions Evaluation
Admission is offered only to those whom the Diplomatic Academy believe will succeed within any of its programmes, excel in their chosen diplomatic careers, and exhibit the competence and potential to lead and practice effectively. Assessment is based on a qualitative evaluation of significant proven practical professional experience, the information an applicant provides and personal integrity. Becoming a commercial diplomacy practitioner is your entry into the International Diplomatic Community.
Accreditation of Prior Learning - APL
Applicants with significant prior professional experience in related field may apply to have the total programme reduced, which will be applied to the independent study requirement. Such application must make reference to areas in which the student has acquired professional competence.
Credit hours may be accepted for transfer into the Master programme or Commercial Diplomat Qualifying Course (Doctoral programme). These must be Postgraduate and or advanced professional courses taken at recognised and acceptable professional institutions and or international governmental organizations. All courses to be transferred must be substantially equivalent to courses taught in the programme to which you are applying. Each applicant will be reviewed on an individual basis.
Conduct
Practitioners in any of the Advanced programmes are preparing themselves for careers in which they will likely be given supervisory or executive responsibilities at a senior executive level. They are expected to maintain integrity, demonstrate maturity, self-discipline and ethical behavior throughout the period of their Mastership and career. The Diplomatic Academy may cancel a participants registration at any time for conduct deemed inconsistent with the integrity expected of a qualified Fellow of Diplomatic Academy of Europe.
Globally-focused and carefully structured
The Distance Learning/Work-based programmes give you the flexibility to expand your knowledge-base and skills while pursuing your current career.
